Utility Payments

Mountain Lake Municipal Utilities customers receive a monthly billing based on monthly meter readings.

All residential utility payments are due by the 'Due Date' which is the 5th of the month as indicated on your utility bill. Any payment made after the due date is subject to a late penalty of 10 percent of the amount of the bill.

  • Utility Payment Black Box located outside City Hall at 930 Third Ave.
  • Utility Office in City Hall, Hours: Mon. through Fri. 9 to 4 p.m.

Automatic Bill Payment

It's easy to sign up!
To sign up for Automatic Bill Payment (ACH), stop by City Hall to complete a form, attach a voided check or a copy of a cancelled check of the bank account number you would like to use to pay your bill. You will receive your bill each month and your payment will be automatically deducted from your bank account on the due date, the 5th of the month.

PLEASE NOTE – The Utility receives a physical check if you use bill pay services provided by your bank. If you use this service there must be adequate time between the day you authorize payment of your bill and the date the bill is due, the 5th of the month, for the check to travel via the United States Postal Service to the Utility office at City Hall. Bill pay checks received after the due date, the 5th of the month, are subject to the late penalty of 10%.

If partial payments are made online, late and other fees still apply until amount is paid in full by the due date.
